Why is your website missing from Google?

First establish whether the page is not indexed or indexed but visible for other searches or at low positions. These situations require different work.

Content published by

Inspect the exact page

A site: search can provide a clue but is not a complete indexing inventory. Inspect the exact URL in Search Console and read its reported reason. Confirm the property matches the public domain and website version.

If the page is not indexed

Check public access and the response. A noindex directive, authentication or access restrictions can impede the process. A sitemap aids discovery without guaranteeing indexing. Use Search Console to identify the concrete issue before changing the website.

If Google selects another URL

Parameters, domain variants and similar pages can lead to another canonical URL. Inspect the selected URL and check whether redirects and internal links support the intended version. Understand relationships between versions before changing canonical tags.

If it is indexed but hard to find

Review search impressions and countries in the performance report. Content may be too general for a service query, or competing offers may be strong. Improve the relevant page and structure. More articles alone will not resolve relevance problems.

What SEO work includes

After launch or migration

Discovery and processing take time, and indexing requests do not guarantee inclusion. After a rebuild, review old URLs, redirects and leftover staging restrictions. Inspect important pages separately for each language.

Information for diagnosis

Prepare affected URLs, launch date, recent changes and available Search Console reports. Identify whether the issue is access, indexing, preferred URL or ranking. Then define the correction and how to follow its result.
