Connecting an online shop to 1C
A 1C integration can connect products, prices, inventory and orders. First establish which system owns each field and whether your configuration supports data exchange.

When integration is worthwhile
Consider integration when staff repeatedly update the same data in two systems or inaccurate inventory disrupts orders. A controlled import or export may suffice at low volume. Compare workload, errors and operating costs first.
Define the data exchanged
Scope depends on the actual 1C configuration. Some projects require only products and inventory; others include customers, orders and documents. Discuss access and extensions with the 1C administrator or integrator.
- Products, variants and shared codes
- Prices and discount rules
- Available and reserved stock by warehouse
- Orders, customers and statuses
- Documents where included and supported
Rules to prevent conflicts
Choose the source of truth for each field. Define precedence if both systems change a price, exchange frequency, stock reservation and cancellations. A stable order identifier helps prevent duplicates when operations are retried.
Handling failures
Plan logs, alerts and retries. Staff need visibility into unprocessed orders. Agreed launch scenarios should include missing codes, insufficient stock, cancellations, connectivity failures and repeated orders. Establish test data and a test environment before production changes.
What determines cost
The 1C version and configuration, shop platform, available interfaces and data quality determine effort. One-way exchange differs from two-way synchronization across multiple warehouses. Compatibility and a fixed price require technical analysis.
Our estimation methodPrepare for a discussion
Provide the 1C version, shop platform, anonymized product and order examples, required fields and an administrator contact. Midavco confirms feasibility and scope before quoting. This guide does not claim a completed 1C integration for a named client.
